How to Elevate Your Natural Skin Glow

As a personal reference, one of my biggest pet peeves consists of my skin’s open pores and blemishes, especially the pores that seem to appear right smack dab in the middle of my forehead or on the tip of my nose. Ugh, as if!

The reality is, makeup is an easy fix and temporary solution but what about when you’re ready to rock a fresh face? If you are anything like me, then it is a guarantee that you want a natural, luminous glow causing heads to turn and leaving people completely enamored by your healthy, gorgeous skin. Instead of wishing and hoping the pores will disappear on their own or ignoring it all together, let’s take the time to handle it once for all!

Whether large or small sweat glands, our overall skin exuberance plays a vital role in looking and feeling our absolute best. So, what do you if you are struggling with seemingly enlarged pores? No need to fret because, as always, New You has you covered with at-home remedies, easy tips, and top tricks to help you naturally shrink and minimize those annoying pores. With a few slight changes added to your beauty routine, it is a guarantee your skincare game will definitely be on fleek.

First things first, it is essential that you clean your makeup brushes on a consistent basis. Although it is a tedious, tiresome, and time-consuming process, you do not want to run the risk of having the added buildup of makeup products [literally] leaving a lasting mark on your skin.

For a quick fix, an ice cube can do the trick! By wrapping a piece of ice or two into a thinly layered cloth and wiping over your skin’s surface, it can reduce the amount of natural oils your skin produces, instantaneously.

Moisturizing is key but have you ever tried an at-home steamy moisturizer? No need to head to the sauna because you have everything you need right in the comfort of your own digs! Grab a large bowl filled with hot water and add a few ingredients such as lavender, basil, rosemary, or rose petals but of course, it all depends on your particular skin type. Not to mention, doing this  can serve as a great aromatherapy without breaking the bank

Last but not least, begin and end each day with a clean slate. This includes implementing both morning and nightly routines. Take the extra time to invest in your beauty regimens and trust us, your skin will thank you later (wink). Keep in mind, regardless of whether or not you have applied an ample amount of makeup or none at all, you should always repeat your daily skincare procedures.

Of course, we can’t forget about the usual suspects of establishing a healthy eating routine, hydrating your body with plenty of H2O, exfoliating, and utilizing sunscreen to protect your face from the UV sunrays. Ladies, you have everything you need, now it’s time to get to work!
