Simply Stylist Miami Pop-Up with Coppertone: Ali Fedotowsky, Nastia Liukin & Brandi Cyrus

Sun, sun and more sun! What’s better than a hot and steamy weekend in Miami? We’ll tell you… A Miami Pop-Up at the Eden Roc Miami Beach Resort with stylish and beautifully savvy women! Over the weekend Sarah Boyd, founder of Simply Stylist and Simply Digital Network hosted the Simply Stylist Miami Pop-Up event which celebrated Coppertone’s new Whipped sunscreen.

We know what you’re all thinking: whipped sunscreen… it’s about time. If Yoplait can make whipped yogurt, then whipped sunscreen shouldn’t be a problem. Luckily Coppertone, who’s been protecting our skin since 1944, has developed a sunscreen that doesn’t streak and spreads like butter on warm bread.

The new Whipped sunscreen let everyone enjoy the day, but it was the overall event and awe-inspiring people that took the cake. The day kicked off with a luncheon overlooking the pool and ever-stunning Miami Beach. The food was exquisite but the conversation was even better. Have you ever wondered what you get when you put a lot of intelligent, inquisitive and health-forward woman in the same room?

We’ll tell you. You get one good panel discussion about all things health and beauty, that will challenge you to think about your own personal health.

Former Bachelorette star and Alli Luvs blogger, Ali Fedotowsky led a panel discussion with some impressive company: Complete Skin MD expert, Dr. Elizabeth Hale, Olympic gold medalist Nastia Liukin, Simply Founder Sarah Boyd, and InStyle associate beauty editor Marianne Mychaskiw.

The panel discussed the most recent beauty trends, best photo-editing tips for blogs, and how to be kind to your skin even after previous sun damage. Marianne shared some of her skincare regrets, and Nastia told us about her makeup routine from her Olympic days. Keep an eye out for our exclusive interviews coming soon here at newyou.com for the full story.

After the panel, Brandi Cyrus (DJ Confetti) founder of Style Native and star of upcoming Cyrus vs. Cyrus, kept the good vibes flowing, spinning some of our favorite tunes at the garden party. She played a stream of today’s top hits and added her own “Brandi Spin” (pun intended) to cultivate the true Miami atmosphere. Meanwhile, attendees were spoiled with massages by Eden Roc Resort Spa, manicures, skin readings by Coppertone, custom barista creations, and even a Lipstick fortune reader with custom “kiss” cards. What more could a woman want?

What an amazing opportunity to attend an event where like-minded women entrepreneurs can connect and network with one another. Sarah Boyd had a vision five years ago when she noticed a gap between newcomers and the front-runners in the fashion and beauty industries.

“We are so excited to finally bring Simply to Miami! There are so many amazing Miami-based fashion and beauty bloggers that we were thrilled to interact with. What better way, than with the leader in the suncare space, Coppertone!”

-Sarah Boyd, founder of Simply Stylist and Forbes style contributor
