LANCE BASS AND HUSBAND MICHAEL TURCHIN ON THEIR WORKOUT PLAYLISTS AND EATING HEALTHY

Lance Bass wishes he started eating his vegetables at an earlier age. “I wish I knew from an early age what I was putting in my body,” said the singer. Michael Turchin added that drinking sodas issimply the worst thing any child could drink. “Drink lots and lots of water,” he said. “The older you get, the more you realize that sugar is the devil and so is salt,” Bass was quick to add. They were both attending the 2016 Actors Fund’s Looking Ahead Awards in Los Angeles last night. The Looking Ahead Awards honor current and former young performers who inspire the world by living the program’s core values of growth, education, leadership, and community service. Turchin admitted he was a little nervous to present an award to his husband who was being honored for his charitable work. On the subject of exercise, it is all about what they listen to at the gym to keep them motivated. “I used to listen to Bruno Mars a lot, but now I listen to podcasts which keeps me on the treadmill a whole lot longer,” said Bass. For Turchin, he loves to listen to the same music from childhood. “Like 12-year-old girl music like Britney Spears,” he laughed. The couple will be celebrating the holidays with family and then a holiday in Spain.
