All Aboard the Dior Cruise 16’

The 2017 cruise collections have had A-listers jet-setting to exotic destinations, from Chanel in Cuba to Louis Vuitton in Rio, and now Dior in London.

The Dior show was a little different, in that showgoers boarded the fabulous Dior Express train and were transported to London’s Blenheim Palace.  The train was decked out in true Dior fashion- fine china, plush chairs, tea service, and fancy hors d’oeuvres.

Emma Roberts, Elizabeth Olsen, and Kiernan Shipka were a few of the celebs on board. They took to Instagram to share their experience. Insert heart eye emoji!

As if the train wasn’t beautiful enough, it got even better when they arrived at their English countryside destination- the Blenheim Palace.

The show’s front row sat Emma Roberts, Kate Beckinsale, The Weeknd, (who was there supporting model girlfriend Bella Hadid), Alexa Chung, Kiernan Shipka, Elizabeth Olsen, Kate Mara, and other fashion ‘it’ girls. This combination made for a v chic front row.

As for the runway show itself, it was full of mixed and matched patterns, suit sets featuring blazer jackets with ribbons strung through them, and a bold dark brown eye makeup. It was hard to find cohesiveness between the pieces which makes us remember that currently there is not a creative director since Raf Simons left the brand.

There were many great pieces in the show that we swooned over, such as the low-cut black gown with a sequined middle section, and the yellow silk midi dress. Another highlight of the show was Bella Hadid. She killed it on the runway, and just hours before the show Dior announced that she will be the new ambassador of Dior makeup.

All in all, #DiorCruise was a darling affair. One we all were wishing we could be at.
