No one likes getting sick, however, we often wait too late before taking the proper precautions. By the time we start experiencing those unwanted symptoms, it is already too late. Here we offer a proactive regime to avoid the nasty flu.

Religiously wash your hands.  Most of us are not aware of the high-traffic surfaces we touch. Washing your hands frequently will ensure that you stay clear of germs and resist infections.

Get enough sleep. When you are tired, your immune system is not as efficient. Aim to get at least eight hours of sleep each night.

Cook with anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory spices. It turns out there are quite a few foods that have natural antibiotic properties (i.e.  lemon, onion, garlic, turmeric). Add these to your favorite dishes for an immunity boost.

Stay hydrated. Drinking fluids will help your body dispose of toxins and stimulate immune function. Drink eight glasses of water each day for optimal benefits.
