Splitting headaches are no way to face the day. Instead of reaching for a painkiller, why not try a different approach. A dose of caffeine can help fight headaches by constricting the dilated blood vessels responsible for pain and throbbing. As if you needed another reason to love your morning coffee…

 

Summer is our favorite time of the year, but we definitely dont love the sunburns that come with long days at the beach. In addition to slathering on a thick layer of sunblock, certain foods can help you in the battle against painful tan lines. Eating foods high in lycopene—including tomatoes and tomato paste—can make you less susceptible to sunburn. Bloody Mary anybody?

 

Ancient cultures paid much attention to the amount of tea incorporated into their diets. While being a delicious alternative to what you can find on the shelf, drinking green tea can even help improve your working memory, which allows your brain to process multiple pieces of information at once. Let’s take a lesson from the history books and start drinking more tea.
