New You Anti-Aging Tip: Kick the soda habit for the next two weeks to lose weight and feel the difference!

Why is it so hard to turn down the pop of a fresh can, the fizzle of that first glass, or that oddly satisfying burn soda leaves on your tongue as you drink it? “Liquid crack” may be a slightly over exaggerated description, but soda is addictive and does contain a mountain of sugar and artificial ingredients that can escalate the aging of your skin, as well as your insides. But like most addictions, the cravings for soda can be overwhelming so as you resolve to quit the habit for good, remember that it takes approximately two weeks to “forget” a craving. We suggest the following plan of action

1. Replace the caffeine kick, by switching to green tea in the morning.
2. Replace the need for fiz and sugar, by drinking carbonated water mixed with lemon and liquid stevia for a deliciously sweet, bubbly, and healthier option.

Need more convincing? A study by the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio shows that even diet soda yields weight gain by as much as 41 percent!
