Protein Power Hour

Protein shakes are a simple, sip-centric way to nab a serving of fruit, veggies, and (of course!) protein. Alexandra Miller, R.D., corporate dietitian at Medifast, says if you are an avid exerciser, sipping on a protein shake is great post-workout fueling. “If you are looking to maintain lean muscle mass along with a healthy weight, spreading protein intake throughout the day is ideal,” Miller advises.
