NEW YOU Health Tip: Prepare healthy, delicious treats as a guilt-free compliment your waistline this season. 

Summer is in full swing, but is not too late to craft the perfect diet to fit your bikini season needs. Here we have a few great dishes to add to the table at your next BBQ, or in between meals when the tempatation to reach for potato chips calls.

1. Dark Chocolate & Banana Popsicles: Dip frozen bananas in melted dark chocolate. Freeze for 30 minutes and enjoy! This treat promotes cardiovascular health and packs a potassium punch.

2. Trail Mix: Add this to the table for heart healthy fats, protein, vitamins and minerals. Be sure to select a brand containing raw nuts, seeds and dried fruit. Lay it out on the table in individual cups based on serving size to be sure you and the guests do not exceed a healthy portion.

3. Kale Chips: Cut 1 washed head of kale into 1 ½ inch pieces and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons olive oil, and sea salt. Bake in the oven at 275 degrees until crisp, turning the leaves halfway through, about 20 minutes. This low calorie, antioxidant rich snack is perfect for munching.
