Lululemon is redefining Black Friday this year by releasing an 8-piece capsule collection. Unfortunately, there is no discounted prices, but for those Lulu lovers out there, this is a big deal. In proper Black Friday fashion, the collection is all black made with “360-degree high-impact reflectivity” fabric, ranging from $38-$298.  The collection will be available on Nov. 27 on its’ website and in stores, including its’ new 11,000-square-foot flagship store in New York City.

In other Lululemon news, the newest flagship store recently opened its doors in the Flatiron District of NYC, but this isn’t your average Lululemon store, it just got way more interesting. The store features a space called, The Concierge, which will help shoppers beyond their shopping needs. The Concierge is essentially a hangout spot where the shoppers can discover new workout classes, new places to run and eat, and even book their next sweat session.

Although some Lulu stores already offer yoga classes, they are kicking it up a notch with their newest expansion project, Hub Seventeen. Lululemon is changing the definition of shopping experience to something far beyond the norm. There will be a coat check, water, a coffee bar, snacks, and even a phone-charging station, for all the iPhone users and their dying batteries. In addition, the 5,000-square-foot Hub Seventeen will be used for fitness classes, monthly dinners, concerts, and art shows. Just when you thought shopping couldn’t get any better, Lululemon is here to prove to you that it will. All is fair in shopping and yoga. Namaste.
