Alisan Porter’s Electrifying Performance Tribute to Janis Joplin

Season 16 contestant, Alisan Porter performed a killer rendition of legendary Janis Joplin’s classic tune, “Cry Baby”, on last night’s episode of The Voice. Not many, if any, can pull off mastering the artfulness of Joplin’s one-of-a-kind medley, but Porter proved otherwise. Midway through her performance, songstress Christina Aguilera jumped from her seat as a pre-celebratory gesture. Not to mention the former Curly Sue childhood star was met with a standing ovation and rave reviews from viewers across the country. She literally brought down the house. We know the 1960s rocker, Janis Joplin is smiling and dancing with glee from above as Alisan perfectly executed one of her signature tracks.
