Celebrity art browsers and buyers came together for the Best Buddies “The Art of Friendship” Benefit Photo Auction at the De Re Gallery on Melrose. This amazing night benefits the Best Buddies Organization, a global volunteer movement started by Anthony Shriver, brother of Maria Shriver. The program itself creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. New You had a chance to visit the red carpet and chat with a few of the charitable celebs.
Michael Cudlitz stopped by the event as a Best Buddies first-timer to support the organization and talk some Walking Dead deets. “Everyone is going to die at some point in the show, I think that is what actually ups the stakes each week. It’s good for everyone to present each week because you never know when your time is up on the show.”
Watch Michael talk about how tight the crew is behind the Walking Dead scenes and more…
