Eco-Friendly Beauty Products You Have to Try

While we love creating our own DIY beauty items with organic products, a little shopping never hurt nobody.

But as we indulge in our favorite nail polishes, lipsticks, and mascaras, we often find ourselves putting unsafe toxins into our bodies and our planet.

We probably won’t ever give up our favorite cosmetics, but there are plenty of organic and natural, Earth-friendly options that are worth the try.

Whether they are manufacturing eye-catching and environmentally friendly packaging, launching recycling programs, or bottling non-toxic and organic solutions, these 5 companies are making huge strides to going green.

While Stowaway is already making progress in the green movement with their “right-sized” products, the cosmetics line is also launching a recycling program called Stowaway, Don’t Throwaway. According to Stowaway, 75% of women don’t finish the products they purchase, not just before they expire, but at all. So their line of right-sized products, which contain no harmful preservatives, are designed to be finished before they perish. However, finishing makeup also means more packaging on hand, and with Stowaway, Don’t Throwaway, customers can send back their packaging in exchange for product. Simply logon to stowawaycosmetics.com/recycling for a prepaid shipping label and earn a $5 credit for every 3 finished Stowaway products you return.
