Get Ready For a Night Out Angel Style

Last night was the annual Victoria Secret Fashion Show. As always their lingerie get-ups and fantastical wings were stunning, well what we saw of them anyway. We can’t wait until we can see the show in its entirety. Until then, New You has beauty tips, shared by your favorite VS models, on how they prepare for this pressure-filled night. And even though, most of us won’t be running off to walk in a major fashion show, we do have lives of our own. Lives that include noteworthy events, whether it be a black tie affair or a night out with a hot date.


The angels recommend natural avocado-made masks, drinking lots of water, steering clear of alcohol, and lots of beauty sleep (at least nine hours a night to be exact). Of course, they also recommend physical activity. Most of them say it is crucial to work out all year long, but about a week or so before the show they double up on their exercise. Some of their favorite workouts include boxing, swimming, and dancing. Veteran angel, Barbara Fialho says, “The most important thing one can do to always appear radiant is to love who she is.” As Audrey Hepburn once quoted, “Happiest girls are the prettiest girls.”  Nobody can argue with that.


To sum it up, taking care of your body physically and loving your body mentally is the key to glowing like a Victoria Secret angel. I’m running out to get my avocados now.
