How Much Did The Force Awakens Actors Get Paid?

The epically anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out this past weekend. The latest Star Wars installment smashed the record for biggest box office debut weekend globally, with ticket sales of $529 million.

As Yoda would say, broke, the actors of Star Wars, will not be. It was recently reported that some of the members of the galaxy were making more than others. So how much did the actors make?

Harrison Ford (Han Solo) was paid over 50 times more than his co-stars bringing him a whopping $10-20 million for his role.

Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) made a fraction of that but still hit the low seven-figure range.

Adam Driver (Kylo Ren) and Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) made salaries in the mid to high six figures, because of previous film and TV experience.

Newbies, John Boyego (Finn) and Daisy Ridley (Rey) ranged from $100-300k, but don’t feel bad for them because their careers are about to skyrocket.

Reportedly, Disney decided to create two different pay scales: one for the original cast members and a lower one for the newest members of the Star Wars squad. It seems show biz isn’t so different from real life.

Don’t forget, they will all get bonuses from the box office revenues once the film hits $1 billion worldwide, which it most likely will.
