Inside the Food Bank NY Can-Do Awards Dinner

The star-studded Food Bank New York Can-Do Awards Dinner was a huge success last night. The event, presented by Bank of America, is instrumental in helping provide support for the 1.5 million New Yorkers who rely on Food Bank for New York City’s programs and services.

Food Bank for New York City is a major hunger-relief organization that fights to end hunger across the 5 boroughs. Nearly one in five New Yorkers relies on a food bank and every dollar donated provides five meals to someone in need. In the past, the Can-Do Awards have raised more than $14 million dollars, which helped to provide 70 million free meals.

The event honored Dan Colen, Joey O’Loughlin, and Lavazza coffe company for their commitment to hunger relief. Mario Batali is no stranger to the event; he’s a board member and the host. Aziz Ansari, Jon Bon Jovi, Chris Canty, Debi Mazar, Bryan Greenberg, and many other celebrities came out to show their support.
