Interviews with Honorees John Stamos, Norman Lear, and Other Stars at TV Land Icon Awards

Everyone’s favorite sitcom stars came together last night to celebrate the TV Land Icon Awards. Actors from shows like Glee, Younger, Fuller House, and more attended the ceremony. The star-studded event, taped April 10th and airing April 17th, honors the best in TV and entertainment and is hosted by George Lopez.

The legendary Norman Lear, who is known for creating comedy staples like The Jeffersons, All in the Family, and Good Times, received the Impact Icon Award. This award praises individuals that have made a significant impression on American entertainment and culture. Funnyman Seth MacFarlane presented Lear with the award, and Glee’s Amber Riley performed a medley of theme songs from Lear’s shows.

John Stamos received the Timeless Icon Award, which is presented to an entertainer whose amazing work spans for generations. Stamos is known for his role as Jesse Katsopolis on Full House, which stopped filming in 1995, but continues to play on televisions around the world via reruns. Currently, Stamos produces and stars in the sequel, Fuller House, and stars in FOX’s Grandfathered. His Full House co-stars and longtime friends, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin, and Grandfathered co-stars Paget Brewster and Josh Peck presented Stamos with his award.

Also, Grammy-winning band, The Beach Boys, performed a medley of their hit songs.

The show is set to air next Sunday at 9PM on TV Land. In the meantime, check out some exclusive interviews with your favorite stars!
