49-year-old international pop star, Janet Jackson has postponed her “Unbreakable” tour so that she and her husband can start their family! The doctors have ordered her to rest.
Janet took to Twitter in a heartfelt video to her fans, thanking them for their understanding and love. She announced there has been a “sudden change” to the second leg of her tour, which started in August. Then she said with a great big smile that the time is now to start a family and she doesn’t want to miss this chance. You cannot help but to be happy for her.

“I thought it was important that you be the first to know,” the singer says to her fans this morning on Twitter, “My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can, try to understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up; doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you.”
Jackson married billionaire Wissam Al Mana in 2012. This is her third marriage.
Just a few months ago in December, Jackson announced she was postponing her “Unbreakable” tour until the spring to have an unspecified surgical procedure. Then announced rescheduled tour dates after she took some time to recover from the surgical procedure. The singer again offered no details on her medical condition, but denied viral rumors that she had cancer.
Hopefully she is on her way to true happiness. Sometimes life doesn’t go as planned and starting a family during a world tour probably isn’t the best timing. But we are on someone else’s clock and I hope her fans know that! Well wishes to Janet and her husband 🙂
