Justin Bieber Mourns Friend Killed In Paris Attacks

Pop sensation Justin Bieber is mourning the loss of his dear friend killed during the devastating Paris attacks on Friday. Thomas Ayad, a Universal Music Group (UMG) executive and close friend to Bieber was among the 89 victims killed during the Eagles of Death Metal concert at the Bataclan theater.

In a heartfelt emotional tweet sent to his 69 million followers, the 21-year old said, “Still thinking about Paris and my friend Thomas that we lost in the tragedy. He was a part of the team for years and I wish I would’ve had more time to thank him.”

Bieber further continued, “Make sure to appreciate people while you have them. Thanks Thomas for everything you did for me. You are appreciated and missed. Thoughts and prayers are with your family & friends #PrayForParis.”

The news of Thomas’s death had been confirmed by UMG chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge, who released an official statement to company employees stating, “We have confirmed that Thomas Ayad, an international product manager for Mercury Records lost his life in the attack on the theater. This is an unspeakably appalling tragedy.”

In the midst of this tragedy, please continue to #PrayForParis as well as the victims and families. We will keep you updated on the latest developments as they become available.
