Kate McKinnon’s Impersonation is Priceless

The SNL favorite crashes ‘Ellen’ by doing the opening monologue as Ellen and it’s hysterical. Kate McKinnon has been impersonating Ellen on SNL for the past few years and didn’t miss a beat while bringing the bright eyed comedian’s style to the show. McKinnon dressed the exact same and sported a short blond do for the skit. Her “I’m Ellen” impression gave the actual Ellen a few head shakes and lots of laughs.

The comedian and star of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot had a ball dancing through the audience and cutting it up with her comedy idol.

Later in the show, McKinnon re-emerged as herself as she discussed her other famous impressions as Justin Bieber and Hillary Clinton. “It is a lot of pressure,” she said, “because all of my impressions come out of absolute love for whoever I’m doing.”

The last time Kate McKinnon impersonated Ellen, next to Ellen, was back in 2013 when she was a newbie on SNL. It was equally as hysterical though. Check it out!
