A shocking rumor is being reported across headlines that a major Hollywood star has been diagnosed as HIV positive.

According to Daily Mail, the A-List actor reportedly has a host of high-profile sexual partners and celebrity exes, including an award-winning actress, a religious movie star, a top Hollywood personality with a controversial past, a TV star, a media personality and a glamour model. The nameless superstar is reportedly afraid to come forward due to possible legal action from several women stating, ‘his lawyers are believed to be aware of the situation and preparing for a raft of potential legal claims from previous lovers.’

An insider close to the man claims: ‘It has now become common knowledge that this star is HIV positive, something he has known for a number of years. But his medical outlook is positive,” divulged the source.

It is also known that he has been devastated over the situation since his diagnosis and is in fear of going public. If I were this person, I would take care of ‘me’ first, followed by the list of sex partners who were put in danger then take it from there.

Hollywood can be so full of themselves sometimes. A suggestion for everyone out in La La land might be to not pressure him into additional stress, strain, humiliation and terror. Allow this man to take responsibility for his actions on his own before throwing him to the media wolves.

I mean, these are the consequences of not practicing safe sex: you either end up with an Eddie Murphy daddy day care type situation or you get the cooties – in this case the mecca of all cooties, HIV.

Here is a quick stat to back up my smack: The United States has the highest rates of teen pregnancy and births in the industrialized world. Of the approximately 950,000 teenage pregnancies that occur each year, about 3 in 4 are unintended.

Let’s talk dirty: An estimated 1 in 5 people in the U.S. has a STD.

  • Chlamydia: 4 million
  • Trichomoniasis (“trich”): 3 million
  • Gonorrhea (“clap”): 1.1 million
  • Genital Warts (HPV): 750,000
  • Genital Herpes:  40 million affected, with as many as 500,000 new cases each year
  • Hepatitis B: 300,000
  • Syphilis: 120,000
  • HIV: 1 million affected, with as many as 45,000 new AIDS cases reported each year

Wrap it up people!
