P!nk’s New Partnership With UNICEF Kid Power

Grammy award winning singer and songwriter, P!nk, has been named the National Spokesperson for UNICEF Kid Power. As the newest representative, her mission is to educate, enlighten and create awareness surrounding malnourished children who are suffering throughout the world.
The songstress, expressed her excitement in a recent post exclaiming, “BIG NEWS – I’m the Nat’l Spokesperson for ?#UNICEFKidPower! Let’s get active & save lives: [email protected],” she tweeted, along with a link to the organization’s website.
The primary purpose of the UNICEF Kid Power campaign allows both kids and adults to virtually participate in game-winning missions. Users can purchase the UNICEF Kid Power Band from Target and earn points that help unlock healthy food alternatives for less fortunate children.
Since the beginning of her career, the pop culture vocalist has been extremely active in lending her support and celebrity status to help serve the mission of various charities and philanthropic efforts.
Her previous involvement includes, partnering with Run for the Cure Foundation, Save the Children, Human Rights Campaign and Take Back the Night. She’s also most notably known for joining forces with PETA and posing nude for one of their most popular campaigns, “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur.”
