Shop For A Good Cause

Two of our favorite fashion brands, Athleta and ModCloth have partnered with Schoola to give shoppers amazingly great discounts while helping to raise money for the Malala fund. I love to shop, but I love a good reason to shop even more.

Schoola is known for its ability to keep us stylish while keeping money in our pockets too. The site sells donated women’s and children’s clothes and donates 40% of their earnings to different schools all around the United States.

The process is simple.  Request a pre-paid shipping bag from the site then fill it with your new or barely-worn pieces and send it back. It’s basically an online consignment store with the major difference being that you’re helping to fight for children’s education all around the world!

Schoola has now teamed up with Athleta and ModCloth to raise money for the Malala Fund. The two brands have donated thousands of brand new items to Schoola that customers are able to get for up to 60% off. The Malala fund was founded by Malala and Ziauddin Yousafzai with the goal to “enable girls to complete 12 years of safe, quality education so that they can achieve their potential and be positive change-makers in their families and communities.”

The founder and CEO of Schoola, Stacey Boyd says that “Malala embodies the perseverance, grace, and fortitude that is required to overcome these challenges, and I for one, stand #withMalala on the simple assertion that every girl deserves access to a safe and quality education.”

And I for one, think we should all take a stand too.
