The 3 Habits of People with Perfect Feet
Posted On Mar 25, 2016
There are tons of ways to prepare your feet for spring sandals. With the weather warming up, it’s time to turn our attention to our toes and prep our winter-worn feet. What are you waiting for?
I, by far, do not have perfect feet, but with these steps I am no longer tucking my toes in the sand. Ain’t nobody got time for that!
We listed the 3 habits of people with perfect paws below, just in time for Easter!
Soak your feet in warm bath water with ¼ cup of Sea or Epsom salt and a couple drops of your favorite essential oil. Check out New You’s post on the benefits of springtime essential oils. Soak for about 20 minutes, or until your feet have become soft enough for the removal of dead skin.
After soaking, apply an exfoliating cream to your feet and massage in circular motions with a loofa or an exfoliating glove. Pay special attention to those extra-rough spots, such as the heel and big toe. We recommend using the foot scrub by Sabon. The sulfate and paraben free scrub is only $22.00 and it contains menthol, which works to keep your feet refreshed and hydrated.
This step is the easiest, yet most important. Apply a generous amount of moisturizer and massage your feet in circular motions. We recommend using the soothing Butter Foot Cream from Sabon, which contains Shea Butter for that extra soft feel.
If you’re up for taking your feet to the next level, continue by giving yourself a full pedicure. Sabon also has a Pedicure Set including all the tools necessary to fully pamper your feet. The set includes these 5 tools: toe separators, clean-up sticks, a nail clipper, a file, and a buffer all inside a convenient travel case.
All there is to do now is paint your toes with your favorite seasonal shade and slip on some sandals.
We hope these guidelines help free your funky feet! Comment below on some of your favorite tips to tidy your toenails.
