The New Movie London Has Fallen Salutes the Troops

Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and military bases across the U.S. were given a special treat this weekend. They were given a first look at the new movie London Has Fallen, the sequel to the 2013 hit Olympus Has Fallen. The movie stars Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, and Angela Basset.
The sequel was screened at 18 different military bases in the U.S. and one base in Kuwait. Three of the film’s stars, Butler, Eckhart, and Basset, visited one of the U.S. bases to meet with members of the military and their families and give them the first look at the movie.
Gerard Butler visited Oceanside, California’s Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton on Friday, February 26th. While there, he accepted a female Marine’s invitation to escort her to the Marine Corps Ball (how sweet!). Watch his full interview below.
On Saturday, February 27th, Aaron Eckhart went to Lompoc, California’s Vandenberg Air Force Base. He met with several airmen and their families.
Also on Saturday, Angela Bassett traveled to the Norfolk, Virginia Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek and met with naval officers. She signed over 200 mini posters for the officers.
London Has Fallen is in theaters this Friday, March 4th.
