Warner Bros. Roll Call: Four 2017 Films Announced

Movie lovers everywhere can rejoice as the line-up for next year is already looking great. The broad-based entertainment company, Warner Bros., announced 4 of their 2017 projects yesterday morning.

First up on the roster, we have Fist Fight, which tells the story of an ongoing dispute between two teachers. This comedy stars Ice Cube, Charlie Day, Christina Hendricks, and Jillian Bell.

Scheduled for May 19, which just so happens to be the weekend before the Memorial Day holiday, we have Annabelle two. The horror film will be going neck to neck with Baywatch for that prime summer weekend.

Towards the end of summer, Warner Bros. announced that they will also be coming out with an, “Untitled Event Film” on August 11th. While we may not know exactly what to expect from this film, the thrill of not knowing may just be the excitement you need.

Finally, for those of you who were wondering when the Best Picture-winner, Ben Affleck, was going to strike again, your patience paid off. Live by Night is scheduled to premiere on October 20, 2017, making it one of the most anticipated fall films. The film which tells the tale of a son of a Boston police captain in the 20th century was written, directed, and produced by Ben Affleck himself. And just in case that wasn’t enough, Affleck also plays the leading role in the Dennis Lehane adaptation.
