New You Beauty Tip: Use chamomile tea to calm skin stress during the holidays.
Large family gatherings are great but can also be stressful and exhausting; both of which are skin aging environmental stressors. This holiday season use chamomile tea as a calming compress to reduce redness, irritated skin and puffiness around the eyes with its natural anti-inflammatory properties.
Soak a clean washcloth in cool chamomile tea that has steeped to a golden yellow and apply to the skin as a compress. To treat puffy eyes only, roll the washcloth to create an eye pillow. Rest the compress on your skin for at least 10 minutes before rinsing and drying.
