The temperature is dropping below 70 degrees, which can mean only one thing: Boot season is finally here! I could not be happier this time of year because I (a self-proclaimed boot junkie) cannot wait to whip out my favorite pairs.
Simply put: no wardrobe is complete without a great pair of boots. From ankle booties, riding boots, and thigh high boots, to tall boots and wedge boots, the possibilities are endless. Each type serves its own unique purpose and every pair deserves some foot time, but two in particular hold a special place in my heart:
My personal (less practical) favorite of mine this season is the cutout bootie. The cutout bootie is a little funkier than its standard counterpart, and goes great with a pair of skinny pants for a fun night out on the town.
But my staple boot this and every season—the one that I can’t live without—is the flat leather boot. I wear these on a daily basis after the temperature drops, while walking to and from work. They are so comfortable; I could run miles in them.
