Rihanna Launches New Beauty Agency

When it comes to pushing the envelope and taking risks in the realms of beauty and fashion, Rihanna has rightfully cemented her status. In 2014, her show stopping glamour, innovative style and funky flair earned her the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s (CFDA) prestige style icon award. The Barbadian songstress may dominate the music charts and Hollywood red carpets but now she is adding to her long list of accolades.

The 27-year-old is one of the founding partners together with Benoit Demouy of Fr8me, a Los Angeles based beauty agency. Fr8me is set to become the premier boutique agency to help make-up artists, nail technicians, wardrobe stylists and hairstylists book commercial, campaign and editorial opportunities.

“Hair, makeup and styling play an important role in creativity. I am very involved with that part of my process, so this agency was an organic thing for me to do,” she told the Hollywood Reporter in an exclusive interview.

Clients who have already inked a deal with the agency include Empire star Taraji P. Henson’s personal stylist, Jason Bolden, Patricia Morales (Fergie), Marcia Hamilton (Jada Pinkett Smith) and Mylah Morales, longtime friend and personal makeup artist of Rihanna.

It doesn’t stop there for the Roc Nation princess. In another bold move, she has created a photo agency, A Dog Ate My Homework in conjunction with Fr8me which represents photographers, Erik Asla and Deborah Anderson.

As an international superstar, entrepreneur, philanthropist and fashion icon, it’s obvious the pop singer has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
