As the old saying goes, “when you look good, you feel good” and we couldn’t agree more with this statement. A revealing sign of how good you may or may not feel begins from within and illuminates through your skin.
Did you have a breakout the moment you became stressed? Or did your skin dry up in the Fall/Winter months? A few things you should keep in mind when it comes to achieving healthy, glowing skin are your eating habits and beauty routines.
We spoke with Ildi Pekar, celebrity facialist and go-to skincare specialist for Miranda Kerr and the flawless Victoria’s Secret Models! She provided us with innovative tips and tricks to help sustain radiant skin.
For deep hydration, Pekar suggests utilizing krill and fish oils as well as staying “away from scorching hot water. This over dries your skin when the weather is already doing the job.”
She also urges you to “SAY NO TO COFFEE! Lay off the caffeine, it does dehydrate you and your skin.” Apologies to the coffee lovers in advance!
As an added bonus, the skincare guru provided us with her recipe for a DIY winter mask that is supermodel approved. Your skin deserves the treatment!
