In 2020, Jill Zarin and her daughter Ally Shapiro launched a face mask brand JILL & ALLY which started at-home with DIY hand tie-dyed face masks. They donated the masks to healthcare workers during the peak of the pandemic where they received such positive feedback recognized by Forbes, People Magazine, TODAY, and Good Morning America. Bravolebrities and influencers like Addison Rae, and Charli & Dixie D’amelio, to Margaret Josephs, Reza Farahan, Cynthia Bailey, Kris Jenner, Kathy Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, and Phillip Bloch have all been spotted wearing their face masks. Since then, the brand has transformed into other mask designs, apparel and youthful accessories.
