Adele Tells Donald Trump to Stop Using her Music for his Campaign

Donald Trump might like the sound of Adele, but the singer doesn’t want him using her songs to punch up his political campaigns. It’s reported that Trump has used both “Rolling in the Deep” and “Skyfall” during his tour around the country. But according to Gossip Cop, the singer has not given him permission to use any of her tracks. Trump apparently likes the lyrics “We can have it all” and “When it crumbles, we still stand tall, face it all together.” It’s unclear if he’s legally licensed them. Either way, Adele does not seem to want him to use them. Trump was also asked by Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler not to play “Dream On” at campaign stops. Out of friendship, Trump obliged. We’ll see if he does the same for Adele.
