Beliebers have to forfeit their meet and greet tickets
Posted On Mar 23, 2016

Justin Bieber’s Purpose Tour just lost its purpose. At least for hundreds of beliebers who paid some pretty pennies for tickets to meet the superstar. The “Love Yourself” star took to Instagram last night to announce his decision to cancel all meet and greets during his tour.
Wait, what do you mean?
It turns out that while fans may walk away from a meet and greet feeling ecstatic, Bieber shares different sentiments.
“Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression.”
Bieber’s apology seemed sincere and genuine. But I’m not sure that the people who spent between $900 and $2,000 for VIP tickets will feel the same. Is it too late now to say sorry? Bkstg, the company responsible for Bieber’s VIP packages, also shared their thoughts with an added spin on the matter.

Apparently, a security scare also prompted the decision to cancel the meet and greets.
Of course, we would all be curious to know if the VIP package holders would be receiving refunds..

Bkstg confirmed in a subsequent post that the company will offer refunds, but only if fans forfeit their ticket altogether. Otherwise, they can exchange their meet and greet ticket for a VIP hangout ticket. The hangout will permit fans to still see Bieber in a lounge setting, but they won’t be able to get up close and take photographs. Better than nothing, right?
The singer still has 114 shows on the remainder of his Purpose world tour.
P.S. I’m truly sorry to all the Beliebers out there who were greatly disappointed by the news. You can pick your jaws up off the ground now.
