Family Holiday Survival Guide by Thomas Sadoski
Posted On Dec 15, 2015
Last night at the Life in Pieces Screening at the Paley Center we got to chat with Thomas Sadoski who plays “live at home” son Matt Short in the sitcom. Sadoski is a long time big screen player, famous for his recent roles in Wild, The Newsroom, and The Slap.
Life in Pieces debuted in September of 2015. The series records the lives of three generations of the Short tribe as told from the point of view of each character. Each episode is broken into four short stories, based on separate family members that intertwine to create the life that is the Short’s. Sadoski says that audiences will love the show because, “they can relate. Everyone has a crazy family on some level, regardless of how big or small it is. That’s what families do… they’re crazy. They teach you to deal with crazy. There’s some sort of ability for everybody to relate to at least somebody in the show at some point in their life.”
He also reveals some tips on how to deal with family members over the holidays. “Find a good corner in a comfortable seat and just hang out there. Surround yourself with food so you don’t have to get up and just stay centered and focused and let the crazy come to you.”
Tune into Life in Pieces on Thursdays on CBS at 8:30 p.m. for more commentary from Mr. Thomas Sadoski.
