Kid Crowned All-Star of Last Night’s Knicks Game

Carmelo Anthony said he was shocked during the middle of last night’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans, and it was not because of the score.
What caused Anthony’s astonishment was a pint-sized fan, and though small, he was fierce. A kid raced down the stadium stairs and onto the court, passing many fans and security. With arms open wide, he ran towards Anthony landing a huge hug.
And he, my friends, is our nominee for the next cute kid to appear on the Ellen Show.
Anthony, who has a 9-year-old son, said, “It was a little kid” when explaining his affectionate reaction in a post-game interview. “I was shocked. I didn’t really know who was it until I actually looked over and saw that it was a kid.”
After being escorted off the court, he charged back up the steps where a female guardian met him.
Watch the below video to see it all.
The New York Knicks (30-45) ended up losing to the Pelicans (27-46) by 8 points. The final score was 91-99.
See Anthony’s reaction when asked about the outrageous, but cute moment.
