Lamar Odom Won’t Face Drug Charges
Posted On Jan 12, 2016
It’s only been a few days since we spotted Lamar Odom being driven around the San Fernando Valley for the first time since leaving the hospital. It sounds like things are looking up for him. He’s starting work towards a full recovery at a local rehab center. The news also just broke that the Nye County District Attorney will not file cocaine charges against Lamar. The former NBA-star had the drug possession charge looming over his head since the October 13th overdose. It appears that it’s rare for prosecutors to file those types of charges when the person who consumed the drugs ends up in the hospital. Lamar barely escaped with his life. He was in the hospital for 3 months and had a stroke, was in a coma, was on dialysis, and suffered a loss of oxygen. We’re glad to see that Lamar is doing better.
