Matt Damon Shares Passion for Global Water Crisis at Sundance

Actor Matt Damon and Gary White, co-founders of the nonprofit Water.org, came to the Sundance Film Festival Saturday to call attention to the need for clean water. Stella Artois has partnered with Water.org to launch the “Buy a Lady a Drink” campaign. The campaign helps raise awareness to the global water crisis. Matt Damon says the main reason they wanted to partner again with Stella is because it worked so well the first time. The beer company introduced a limited-edition collection of decorated glass goblets representing water-poor countries. When you buy a lady a chalice ($13, amazon.com), it provides a woman with five years of clean water.  Matt Damon is very passionate about clean water issues. He says when you can provide water for a family in a water-poor country, it’s life changing for the family. Damon says the number one take away for everyone to understand is that the global water crisis is solvable.
