Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander Talks About Date Night

Last night the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles (SCLA) presented its 25th annual Simply Shakespeare benefit reading of the “Twelfth Night.” The event was held at the prestigious Broad Stage in Santa Monica, California. Of course, the evening wouldn’t have been complete without an all-star cast to showcase their talents in an impromptu Shakespeare performance including former Seinfeld actor Jason Alexander.
New You was on the scene and spoke with the Hollywood A-lister who played the character Fabian during the improv production. In reference to the night’s festivities, he jokingly admitted that, “Anything can happen and it usually does!” He also shared with us various ways he and his wife celebrate date night, “Date night is actually more often than not a night with our closest friends because we’re all in the same position. We’re all empty nesters now and we all enjoy each other’s company.”
The evening also hosted Bette Middler, William Shatner, Christina Applegate, and Jason Alexander to name a few. Funds from the event will not only help support the SCLA but also art infused veteran employment programs and employment programs for under privileged youth, among several other initiatives.
