New Mom Audrina Patridge reveals 2018 Prey Swim Line at Miami Swim Week

We all love The Hills, therefore we undoubtedly love Audrina Patridge! But did you know she designs and owns Prey Swim, a trendy and svelte swimwear line? This past weekend we caught up with Audrina and her new line at Miami Swim Week for their first ever runway presentation. Prey debuted their Resort 2018, and Pre-Fall 2017 collections along with looks from Summer 2017. These fabulous designs will transport you to the South of France, South America and Marrakech through the line’s exotic designs, colors, and figure flattering styles.
DJ Jessica Who created an electric vibe through jazzy tunes as models graced the runway. The women showcased makeup by Stroke of Beauty, led by Makeup Artist Amanda May and nail designs by Deco Miami Nail Lacquer. Audrina closed the show rocking a sexy sheer bodysuit + netted skirt combo, paired with ShoeDazzle strappy heels, and layered jewelry, hand in hand with model Sierra Skye, both donning waved locks by Sarah Potempa’s The Beachwaver Co.
Their upcoming suits from the Joya Collection (Resort 2018) found inspiration from Peru, the country known as the mecca of understated boho fashion during the 1970s. From its exotic fruits and flowers, Incan ruins, the muted jewel tones and geometric shapes, plus the rich layering of textiles, have been meticulously applied to create one of Prey Swim’s most sultry collections yet. The Peruvian inspired prints with pink, red and blue shimmers, glittering gold, matte black and smokey gray, are loud and spicy for anyone wanting to stop traffic on the beach. However it doesn’t stop there, the line also features animal prints to reflect the beautiful South American wild cats.
The Riviera Collection (Pre-Fall 2017) displays the glamour of The French Riviera during the 1950s and 1960s, when it was the crown destination for elevated tourism by Aristocrats, Actors and Bohemians alike. If you rock the “effortless style”, this collection is the one for you. It features hand-drawn prints, decadent colors, and new custom silhouettes such as The Biarritz deep v one piece, The Grace Top, and Bardot Bottoms – high waisted French cut bottoms with a rear bow. These elegant suits are hip-hugging and stunning in all the right ways.
The Marrakech Collection (Summer 2017) feature Prey Swim’s signature styles and will continue to be available through summer 2017. They draw inspiration from the colors and textures of 1960s and 1970s Marrakech, The Rolling Stones, and designer Audrina Patridge’s captivation with the influence of this artistic time period and city. This line also features Prey’s best-selling suit: the St.Tropez one-piece.
“We are so excited to show Prey Swim to Miami Swim Week! This is something I dreamed of when planning our initial brand debut, so to be showing here so soon after launching is a dream come true. I cannot wait for Miami to see our new suits! There are so many amazing swim designers showing collections that I have been a fan of for quite some time, so to be showing my line in their company, as a fellow swim designer, is an honor. Miami is such an amazing city with so many incredible cultures represented, so it is the perfect setting to showcase our Prey collections which draw inspirations from cultures and countries all over the world,”

The event also featured many notable influencers. The front row alone included supermodel Tyson Beckford, Khloe Terae, Kier Mellour, Sarah Potempa, Roman Palumbo, Harmony Carter, Carmen Carrera, Nick Montealegre, Alana Greszata, Seth Browarnik, and Audrina’s sister Samantha Patridge who was nothing but smiles in support of her sister.
For Prey’s first ever runway show, we’d say it was an absolute success. Audrina Patridge has outdone herself with these sultry, beautiful designs. The swimwear is top-quality and nothing short of genius. The suits can be purchased here and we can’t wait to see what else Audrina comes up with in the future.
