British actress and television presenter, Terri Seymour, was quick to thank her makeup artist friend for recognizing the telltale signs of Lupus and alerting her to seek medical attention.  The makeup artist has, herself, suffered with Lupus. “I always think of myself as lucky,” says Seymour. “I was diagnosed with Lupus within a year. My treatment program started very quickly. I did experience problems. I got peritonitis complications from Lupus that nearly killed me, so it was tough, but fortunately I am now in remission. I am very grateful. The actress was being honored at the 14th Annual Hollywood Bag Ladies Luncheon benefitting Lupus LA.  Her health advice to millennials was to look after their bodies from a young age as it really makes a difference. “Be sensible, practice healthy living, healthy eating – diet is so important – and listen to your parents!” she admonished. On the subject of supplements, she says she always buys them but never always takes them. “I hate swallowing those big pills!” We agree.
