Taylor Swift is Creating a Mobile Game with Glu Mobile!
Posted On Feb 04, 2016
Calling all Swifties! Taylor Swift is finally getting her own mobile game! It’s from the same company, Glu Mobile, that’s responsible for making Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. You know the mobile game that’s made over $200 million – yes, that one! With over 227 million social followers, Taylor Swift’s game is sure to make millions too.
Niccolo de Masi, chairman and CEO of Glu, said in a statement, “We realize that Taylor and her global fan base expect a new and highly differentiated mobile gaming experience.” He also said that the gameplay elements will utilize Taylor’s unique creativity.
Glu Mobile has revealed that it’ll craft a title based around Swift’s life. It’s expected to arrive by the end of 2016. Although the Kim Kardashian game has been very successful, the Katy Perry game that was released last year was a huge flop, so the company was forced to turn its attention to another global pop sensation.
And if you didn’t already know, there’s definitely some “Bad Blood” between Swift and Perry. It’s believed Taylor’s famous hit Bad Blood is about Katy. The two also both dated John Mayer. Hmm, we wonder if this will lead to another celebrity Twitter feud?
Guess this is what Taylor’s post-tour plans include. We suppose – creating a mobile game, playing with her cats (Meredith and Olivia), and, of course, hanging out with her good-looking boyfriend Calvin Harris.
We hope some of the Bad Blood stars will make an appearance in this game!
