Fashion Brand Unveils New Smartwatch with Android

Chic meets tech with the launch of “Access,” an unprecedented line of Michael Kors smartwatches.
As we know, Michael Kors already has a wide range of timepieces but with smartwatches taking over the industry, the American designer naturally had to get in on the action. Kors introduced the new line and collaboration with mobile operating company, Android, at BaselWorld 2016.
The high-end brand released dual introductory videos (see below) displaying the two, ready-to-wear watches which cater to both men and women with gold “for her” and black “for him.” While the women’s watch flaunts an exquisite gilded design, the men’s timepiece boasts a sporty appearance.
Though our options seem limited, the brand is said to release a variety of colors to allow owners to switch bands using the interchangeable feature.
Needless to say, the watches are Android and iPhone compatible with the same features as every other smartwatch. The chic wearables have display faces that you can switch around with just a swipe. They also have a built-in fitness tracker, which supports Google’s voice commands, and shows app notifications. We’re just curious to know if the new luxury pieces are wrist-tattoo compatible.
The starting price for both is $395 and they’ll debut in department stores this Fall.
