Galentine’s Day Party

In Spanish, Valentine’s Day is known as ‘el Dia del Amor y la Amistad’- the day of love and friendship. Did you hear that, friendship! If you don’t have a date this year, don’t sweat it! Grab your girlfriends and have a Galentine’s Day!! Even better, the 14th of February coincides with the best brunch day, Sunday! Coincidence? I think not!

Trust me, as long as you have lots of drinks, pink and girl talk, this will be the best Galentine’s Day brunch, ever #SquadGoals.

Decorations:

First, request that all your guests stick to the reds and pinks of Valentine’s Day.

Set up a heart shaped photo backdrop. Pick up two 8 count packs of heart shaped paper plates at your nearest Target and tape away.

You must have pink and red balloons- they’re great space fillers and also make great photo props (Instagram game strong).

Get fun plate settings and alternate between red, pink and white colors. Also, use confetti to sprinkle along the table runner to make it more festive.

Cocktails:

How does a Strawberry Rose Sangria sound? Well, it tastes even better! Top off the drinks with strawberries, raspberries, and lemons and sip away!

Food:

Organic heart-shaped Belgium waffles. Eat your little heart out, literally. Check out the delicious recipe here. Don’t forget the Nutella or a side of strawberry sorbet!

Also, pick up some freshly baked cute pink and red macaroons. Totally fitting for your Galentine’s Day party!

Piñata:

Get a heart-shaped piñata, give it an adult upgrade (fill it with alcoholic candies) and swing away! Batters up!
