Can Instagram Boost Your Happiness?

If you are constantly obsessed with posting Instagram worthy images, then we have some good news for you! According to researchers at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, from nine various experiments performed, snapping picture-perfect photos that are Insta-worthy are totally worth it. The final results indicate that it tremendously affects the enjoyment of your experience in a more positive way – a finding that many would never expect by debunking the age old myth that a digital detox is much needed and necessary in today’s society.

The Journal of Personality and Social Psychology published a study that suggests, “the physical act of taking photos makes us look at the world a little differently and a little more intentionally,” concluding that, “taking photos of an experience actually makes you enjoy it more, not less.”
