Before you grab your sombreros and head out to indulge in a few margaritas consider a low carb recipe that you can make on your own! A typical margarita usually consists of a variety of mixers, corn syrup, high sugars, and other ingredients that are not very beneficial for your health or waistline. With 144 calories to spare, this recipe utilizes natural, elements that we promise you’ll absolutely love! The first step is fairly simple because it consists of gathering all of the recipe ingredients together;

Ice
1 1/2 ounces 100-percent agave blanco tequila
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce Cointreau
Now it’s time to get down to business, fill a cocktail shaker with the above ingredients, and shake, shake, shake! Strain the ingredients on top a cup with ice. Now the fun begins-it’s time to enjoy your traditional yet delectable libation in honor commemoration of National Margarita Day!
