Recently, the U.S. Social Security Administration revealed the most popular baby names by state. And you guessed it, the name at the top of every state’s list was none other than…. (drum roll, puh-lease), Dontaira! Now, how cool is that if only it were truly the case?

Unfortunately, my name isn’t popular within a small town let alone an entire state. The reality is, Emma and Noah were the top contenders throughout the country in 2015, especially within the southern and western states. In spite of Noah’s strong notoriety, William was a southern favorite and Liam followed closely behind as another parental top-pick.

However, states such as Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts proved they don’t follow trends instead they create them with names such as Elijah, Mason, and Benjamin leading the way. In terms of the little princesses, Ava, Isabella, and Harper were the names that won the keys to our hearts. You should probably get ready for these names to take over the classrooms and the workplace in the years to come.
