The Other Spring Break Destinations You Didn’t Know About
Posted On Mar 19, 2019

January had New Year’s Day, February had Valentine’s Day, but what about Spring Break?
But before the Pina Coladas settle in, can we all be a bit creative and choose other destinations for Spring Break? I mean, there are other places besides Cancun and Cabo to have fun with your friends:
Cartagena, Colombia
Little known fact, it is only a 3-hour flight from Florida and it is safe and beautiful. I was actually there a month ago and my round trip ticket on JetBlue (NOT Spirit) was $211! Stay in the Walled City and you will be surrounded by beauty, history, salsa dancing in the streets and the happiness of the people is contagious.

Flamingo Beach, Aruba
You can spend the day working on your tan, splish splash in the crystal clear ocean and feed flamingos on the beach…um, need I say more?

Tulum, Mexico
This little magical beach town attracts artists, bohemians and those who want to experience the charm of the locals. Take a bike on Tulum’s beach road, walk the colorful streets of Tulum, do a Taco crawl (not even kidding) and enjoy the ridiculously good tropical drinks. Cheers!

Wynwood, Miami
This area of Miami is where all the hipster come out to play. The streets are adorned with beautifully painted murals, coffee shops lace the streets and the chicest restaurants serve food to delight all of your senses. And you are just a quick Uber ride to South Beach to release your inner dancing queen.

National Parks
Want to do something a bit less tropical? Visit a National Park you’ve never been to and camp with your friends, build a bonfire, make s’mores and enjoy the splendor of the wilderness.

Can’t wait to hear all of your Spring Break stories- happy travels!
