Invite Only: Creating the perfect guest list ensures a variety of people who are able to mix and mingle. If you know someone in your same position, don’t be afraid to extend a friendly invite.

Get in the Holiday Spirit: Personalized touches are always an added bonus and provides an emotional appeal to any social event. What better way to flex your creative skills then to DIY, particularly if you’re fresh out of funds.

Entertainment: Make it fun, make it memorable and make it worthwhile! Creating lively activities for guests to enjoy helps keep the party going. Some suggestions include, board games, dance competitions, karaoke, a game of cards or just chillaxing and watching the annual Thanksgiving day football games.

Good Tunes: Set the scene with amazing grooves. The right or wrong track list can totally make or break your celebration.

Menu Options: To receive everyone’s involvement arrange a potluck style dinner and delegate dishes and drinks for your guests to bring. This also takes away some of the added pressure off of your plate.

Make it a Festive Time: Try not to get caught up in the planning that you forget to have a good time. Revel in the gifts that keeps on giving; true friends, good times, great health and above all else, life itself.
