Winter equates to keeping warm inside while summer calls for laying out in the sun!

A summer should never pass you by without being able to enjoy white sand beaches, clear blue oceans, and hot sunny days. Vacations don’t always mean completely emptying your bank accounts and draining your finances.

There are definitely some hot spots for summertime that give you the same lush sea cliffs as Hawaii, ridiculously large shopping malls like Dubai, and bungalow-filled oceans like Bora Bora without the hefty price tag.

We’ve rounded up out top five summer vacay destinations that are almost too good to be true!

  • Miami, FL

Tourists are continuously drawn to the home of the Miami Heat. Summer is the perfect time to experience South Beach and Biscayne Bay. Miami is also known for its epic night-life at the tons of clubs and bars on the strip.

  • Virginia Beach, VA

  • Jamaica

Jamaica is the perfect spot for beach lovers. Known for the luxurious all-inclusive resorts and the taste-bud addicting food, visiting this paradise-like island will have you feeling refreshed, relaxed, and rejuvenated.

  • Turks and Caicos

This island is perfect for snorkelers and divers. The beaches are incredibly beautiful, and the people are extremely welcoming.

Similar to Virginia Beach, Ocean City has a great boardwalk perfect for dining. Ocean City is a resort town in Maryland between the Atlantic Ocean and Isle of Wight Bay. It features miles of beach and a wooden boardwalk lined with restaurants, shops and hotels.

City Attraction – Assateague Wild Ponies: The famous ponies are only nine miles from Ocean City, along with nature trails, deer, foxes, and thousands of birds.
