Gigi Hadid Honors Mom at Global Lyme Disease Alliance Gala

Super model, Gigi Hadid, made a rare appearance on Tuesday night’s episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to honor her mom, Yolanda Foster, at the Global Lyme Alliance inaugural gala.
The special occasion took place back in October 2015, and television network, Bravo, has finally awarded us with not only Gigi’s beauty, but her powerful words as well. Accompanied by her then boyfriend, Joe Jonas, Gigi gave a compelling speech that left not a dry eye in the room.
She spoke, “Tonight, we are honoring the person that, more than anyone I know, is hope for Lyme disease awareness, my mom. For your fight, for your passion, and for making your journey one that will help so many, I’m so proud to honor you with this award.”
Aside from some of Yolanda’s cast mates from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Gigi’s siblings Bella, 19, and Anwar, 16, were also in attendance. Following Gigi’s moving speech, her mom took the stage, in which she confessed her love for her family and announced that Bella and Anwar were too diagnosed with chronic Lyme’s disease in 2012.
Gigi, fortunately, does not have the disease, but the fashionista uses her strong media presence to spread awareness. She also donated her $25,000 winnings from Masterchef Celebrity Showdown to the Global Lyme Disease Alliance.
